The Alyeska House's owners Tom and Jody are long time Alaskan residents with strong ties to Seattle and the commercial fishing industry. Tom has been actively involved in the fishing industry in Alaska for over 30 years, working in many capacities around the state. Today Tom enjoys fishing with his two sons during the summer and relaxing in Girdwood's beautiful valley during the winter.
After raising two boys to adulthood, Jody now works for(a kayak company in Ketchikan) during the summer months. Jody's love of travel and the outdoors make Ketchikan a great fit for her in the summer.
In their free time, Tom and Jody both enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, reading, skiing and gardening. Their busy summer schedules make operating the Alyeska House as a vacation rental a possibility.
