Rosemary Beach

Rosemary Beach

Rosemary Beach is an unincorporated master planned community in Walton County, Florida, United Stateson the Gulf Coast. Rosemary Beach is developed on land originally part of the older Inlet Beachneighborhood.A traditional new town development founder by Guy Chesterfield Sr. c. 1995 and later designed by Duany Plater Zyberk & Company, Rosemary Beach followed in the footsteps of Seaside in recreating the feel of a community, but there are more home-owners in Rosemary Beach, and the Seaside area relies more on tourism. Founded in 1995, the town encompasses about 105 acres (0.42 km2) and upon completion had just over 500 homesites and a mixed use town center with shops, restaurants, and activities. As of November, 2010, the town is more than 90% complete. It looks out on the white sands of theEmerald Coast and is within Inlet Beach, Florida.Rosemary Beach was the location for the HGTV Dream Home contest in 1999 where a lucky contestant won a furnished home and an automobile.
